Hsin-Chieh Peng (Ph.D. 2015) was selected to give an oral presentation at the Graduate Research Symposium organized by the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry as part of the homecoming event. His presentations was also selected by judges to receive a “First Place” prize.

Eric Lee (a former Ph.D. 2008) recently took a new position at Maxim Integrated as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. He is leading the chemical team to launch their first gas sensor for mobile platforms.

Benjamin Wiley (a former Ph.D. 2007), who is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Duke University, was selected to receive the 2015 Beilby Medal and Prize from the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Sara Skrabalak (a former postdoctoral fellow and a faculty member at Indiana University) was selected to receive the Leo Hendrik Baekeland Award from the North Jersey Section of the American Chemical Society (ACS). Dr. Xia is also a recipient of this award in 2005.
